According to the Georgian Code of Administrative Offences, driving a vehicle without the state registration plate or otherwise altered state registration plate intentionally, or with the state registration plate attached to the windshield of a vehicle will result in:
- 1 Penalty in the amount of 50 GEL
- 2 Penalty in the amount of 100 GEL or administrative imprisonment for the period up to 15 days
- 3 Penalty in the amount of 100 GEL

საქართველოს ადმინისტრაციული სამართალდარღვევათა კოდექსის 122-ე მუხლის პირველი ნაწილის თანახმად, სატრანსპორტო საშუალების მართვა წინასწარი შეცნობით სახელმწიფო სანომრე ნიშნის გარეშე, ან სხვაგვარად შეცვლილი სახელმწიფო სანომრე ნიშნით, ან სატრანსპორტო საშუალების საქარე მინაზე დამაგრებული სახელმწიფო სანომრე ნიშნით -გამოიწვევს დაჯარიმებას 100 ლარის ოდენობით.
