“Overtaking” means:
- 1 Overtaking one or several preceding vehicles driving in the same direction in the same lane, by leaving the taken lane
- 2 Driving round one or several oncoming vehicles in neigbour traffic lane
- 3 Faster motion of the vehicle in the concurrent traffic lanes than the vehicles moving in the lines adjacent to the edges of driveway

„საგზაო მოძრაობის შესახებ“ საქართველოს კანონის 5-ე მუხლის მე-10 პუნქტის თანახმად, გასწრება - დაკავებული ზოლიდან გამოსვლით იმავე ზოლში თანხვდენილი მიმართულებით წინ მოძრავი ერთი ან რამდენიმე სატრანსპორტო საშუალების გადასწრება.
