“Adjacent territory” is:
- 1 Crossing, junction or branching of the roads on one level, including the territories formed after such crossing, junction or branching
- 2 The territory, that directly surrounds the road and is not designated for through route of vehicle (yard, residential area, car park, petrol station, institution, etc.)
- 3 Element of the road designated for motion of the vehicle without rails (other than pavements, sideways, bicycle lanes and pedestrian paths)

„საგზაო მოძრაობის შესახებ“ საქართველოს კანონის 5-ე მუხლის 38-ე პუნქტის თანახმად, მიმდებარე ტერიტორია - ტერიტორია, რომელიც უშუალოდ გზას ეკვრის და არ არის განკუთვნილი სატრანსპორტო საშუალების გამჭოლი მოძრაობისათვის (ეზო, საცხოვრებელი მასივი, ავტოსადგომი, ბენზინგასამართი სადგური, დაწესებულება და სხვა)
