In case of existence of the brake lane, the driver intending to swerve, is obliged to:
- 1 Stop in the braking lane before performing the turning maneuver
- 2 To move quickly to the braking lane and then slow down the speed
- 3 Slow down in advance and perform swerving maneuver without moving to the brake lane

„საგზაო მოძრაობის შესახებ“ საქართველოს კანონის 32-ე მუხლის მე-13 პუნქტის თანახმად, დამუხრუჭების ზოლის არსებობის შემთხვევაში მძღოლი, რომელიც მოხვევას აპირებს, დროულად უნდა გადაადგილდეს ამ ზოლზე და შემდეგ უნდა შეანელოს სიჩქარე.
