According to the rule prescribed by the Georgian legislation, a traffic participant has the right:
- 1 To claim the action of the authorized official in the field of traffic safety only
- 2 To move freely and uninterruptedly on the road only
- 3 Both to move freely and uninterruptedly on the road, as well as to claim the action of the authorized official in the field of traffic safety only

„საგზაო მოძრაობის შესახებ“ საქართველოს კანონის მე-20 მუხლის პირველი პუნქტის „ა“ და „გ“ ქვეპუნქტების თანახმად, საგზაო მოძრაობის მონაწილეს უფლება აქვს, საქართველოს კანონმდებლობით დადგენილი წესით: ა) თავისუფლად და შეუფერხებლად გადაადგილდეს გზაზე; გ) გაასაჩივროს საგზაო მოძრაობის უსაფრთხოების უზრუნველყოფის სფეროში უფლებამოსილი თანამდებობის პირის ქმედება.
