In case of complete loss of the cargo, the limitation period of the rights caused by the shipping shall start:
- 1 From thirtieth day after expiry of the agreed trem regarding shipment or, if no such period has been specified, - the sixtieth day following to receipt of the cargo by the carrier
- 2 Sixtieth day after expiry of the agreed term for shipment or, if no such period has been specified, - in one year after receipt of the cargo by the carrier
- 3 Ninetieth day after receipt of the cargo by the carrier

საქართველოს სამოქალაქო კოდექსის 699-ე მუხლის „ბ“ ქვეპუნქტის თანახმად, ამ თავში მოწესრიგებული გადაზიდვებიდან გამომდინარე უფლებების ხანდაზმულობის ვადა არის ერთი წელი. განზრახვის ან უხეში გაუფრთხილებლობისას ეს ვადა შეადგენს სამ წელს. ხანდაზმულობის ვადის დენა იწყება ტვირთის მთლიანად დაკარგვისას - გადაზიდვის შეთანხმებული ვადის გასვლის ოცდამეათე დღიდან ან, თუ ასეთი ვადა არ ყოფილა დათქმული, - გადამზიდველის მიერ ტვირთის მიღებიდან მესამოცე დღეს.
